Discover the secrets of the “vila vermella”
Prades is a small village in the Baix Camp region, located in the heart of the Prades Mountains. Its natural environment and the tranquility that surrounds it make it an ideal destination for family getaways or day trips.
Prades is well known as the “vila vermella” red village, for its monuments made of “sauló”, the reddish stone characteristic of these mountains.
We offer you a family guided tour combined with a fun scavenger hunt in the village.
Itinerary
We will start the visit in the main square from where we will discover step by step the streets and the most remarkable monuments of Prades, its history, its curiosities and its traditions.
Next, we will demonstrate what we learned during the visit with the family scavenger hunt: the participants must form a minimum of 2 groups and pass the tests, so be very attentive to the guide’s explanations during the visit! Some questions are related to the history and traditions of Prades. If you don’t remember the answer…. you must sharpen your wits to find it. You will need to resort to observation, attention, interaction with neighbours, teamwork and coordination between team members. Will you be able to find out the secrets of “vila vermella”?
