Our services are aimed at professional guides over the age of 18.
In an environment as competitive as the current one, we want to help you position and give visibility to your services as a guide through our website and all the social engineering media within our reach: social networks, newsletters, e-mailings, etc.

How do we use your data?
Registration as a guide through our registration form https://www.yourlocalguides.net/guides-registration/ is free.
When you register as a guide on our website we will ask you for a series of data:
- Profile Photo: we will ask you for a photo to publish on the web, try to be as recent as possible to generate confidence to users of the web is important to see you.
- Contact details: telephone and e-mail.
- Native languages you master.
- Description of your activity: here you can introduce yourself and describe what you offer as a guide.
- Titles and/or qualifications that accredit you as a guide, you will be able to indicate the name and if you wish to upload a photograph of the card or qualification.
- If you wish you can upload a presentation video
By registering, sending us or uploading this data, including your image and/or voice in the profile picture or in the presentation video, you authorize this data to be made public (by way of illustration and not limitation) through our website, social networks, newsletters, and so on.
You declare under your responsibility that all the contents that you upload or send us do not infringe intellectual or industrial property rights of third parties and that documents such as titles or qualifications are authentic.
How to activate your profile?
To activate your public profile and start publishing your excursions, routes or guided tours, we offer you the visibility pack that you can hire in the “Desktop” section of your profile. Prices include VAT.
We are not intermediaries between you and the client, we do not charge commissions for visits to your profile or for the services you are hired by users of the web.
To make the contract, you must follow the online purchase procedure, making the payment properly. After this, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your contract (the “Order Confirmation”). The purchase of the visibility pack will be formalized only when we send you the “Order Confirmation”. The services offered through this website do not require any material delivery requiring postal or similar delivery.
If there are difficulties in performing the service, we reserve the right to provide you with information about substitute services of equal or superior quality and value to the orderer. If you do not wish to order such substitute services, we will refund the amount paid.
When will the visibility pack be activated?
Without prejudice to what is established in the previous clause regarding the availability of the services and unless extraordinary circumstances occur, we will try to activate the visibility pack, within a maximum of 7 days from the date of the Order Confirmation.
However, delays may occur for reasons such as unforeseen circumstances or the time of year of recruitment.
Please note, in any case, that we do not normally carry out service activations on Saturdays or Sundays. If it is impossible for us to activate the service, we will try to contact you explaining the cause in order to find a solution.
To activate the visibility pack we will need you to provide us with information about yourself and your visits, routes and excursions. In the event that 60 days after the activation of the visibility pack service, you do not provide us with the necessary information to carry out the contracted service, we will understand that you want to cancel the contract and we will consider it resolved. As a consequence of the termination of the contract, we will refund all payments received, discounting only the direct management and financial costs that are directly charged (transfer fees, Paypal, …)
What is the price of the visibility pack?
The price of the services will be the one stipulated in each moment in our web page, except in case of manifest error. Although we try to ensure that all prices on the site are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any of the products or services ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to reconfirm the order at the correct price or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, the order will be considered cancelled and you will be fully refunded the amounts that have been paid.
We will not be obliged to supply you with any product or service at the incorrect lower price (even if we have sent you the Order Confirmation) if the price error is obvious and unequivocal and could reasonably have been recognised as incorrect.
Prices may change at any time, but (except as stated above) possible changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent you an Order Confirmation.
The accepted forms of payment are Paypal and payment by bank transfer. To activate the service by bank transfer, please send an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org or use our contact form.
The collection, storage and transmission of personal information through the website is done in an encrypted way through the use of SSL security protocol, encryption system that confers total security in the transmission of data through the PayPal platform.
Do I have the right to cancel the service?
The contract is made as a professional and not as an end user or consumer, despite this you will have a withdrawal period that will expire 14 calendar days after the activation of the service. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must send a letter to the address, Camí del Verder, 30, 08480 L’Ametlla del Vallès, (Barcelona), by email to email@example.com or through our web contact form, with your decision to withdraw from the Contract. You will be able to use the model withdrawal form that appears at the end of these Conditions as ANNEX, although its use is not obligatory.
In case of withdrawal on your part, we will return all payments received, discounting only the management and financial costs that are directly charged (transfer fees, Paypal, …). We will proceed to make this refund using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction. However, we may retain the refund until the services have been deactivated.
What guarantees do we offer?
Unless expressly provided otherwise, our liability in connection with any service purchased on our website shall be strictly limited to the purchase price of such product.
We will not accept any liability for the following losses, regardless of their origin:
- loss of revenue or sales:
- loss of business;
- loss of profit or loss of contracts;
- loss of anticipated savings; and
- loss of management time or office hours
Due to the open nature of this website and the possibility of errors in the storage and transmission of digital information, we do not guarantee the accuracy and security of information transmitted or obtained through this website unless expressly stated otherwise on the same.
We shall not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from a denial of service attack, viruses or any other technologically harmful or harmful program or material that may affect the computer, computer equipment, data or materials as a result of using this website or downloading content from it.
All descriptions of services, information and materials contained on this website are provided “as is” and without express or implied warranties of any kind except as otherwise provided by law.

- Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or any other natural disaster.
- Impossibility of using trains, boats, airplanes, motor transports or other means of transport, public or private.
- Inability to use public or private telecommunications systems.
- Acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government or public authority.
- Strike, failure or accident of maritime or fluvial transport, postal or any other type of transport.
It shall be understood that our obligations under the Contracts shall be suspended during the period in which the Cause of Force Majeure continues, and we shall have an extension in the term to comply with such obligations for a period of time equal to the duration of the Cause of Force Majeure. We will use all reasonable efforts to terminate the Force Majeure Event or to find a solution that will enable us to perform our obligations under the Contract despite the Force Majeure Event.
How will we contact you?
In electronic contracting, we are required by law to have information and communications in writing. For this reason, you agree to receive electronic communications in relation to the registration, profile activation, hiring of any product or service and in general everything related to our website. For contractual purposes, you consent to the use of electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that any contract, notification, information and other communications that we send you electronically has full legal validity.

Other issues to keep in mind:
Our failure to require you to comply strictly with any of your obligations under these Terms or our failure to exercise any rights or remedies to which we may be entitled under such Agreement or the Terms shall not constitute a waiver or limitation of any such rights or remedies and shall not relieve you of any such obligations.
No waiver by us of any particular right or action shall constitute a waiver of any other rights or actions under the Agreement or the Conditions.
No waiver by us of any of these Terms or of any rights or actions under the Agreement shall be effective unless expressly stated as a waiver and formalized and communicated to you in writing.
If any of these Terms are declared null and void by final resolution by competent authority, the remaining terms and conditions shall remain in force, unaffected by such declaration of nullity.
These Terms and all documents expressly referred to herein constitute the entire agreement between us with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede any other prior agreement, agreement or promise made orally or in writing
Modification of Conditions:
We have the right to revise and amend these Terms at any time. You will be subject to the policies and Conditions in force at the time you use this website or place each order.
Legislation and Jurisdiction:
The guides are considered professional in the exercise of an activity, any dispute arising or related to the use of our website or these Conditions or any product or service offered through the web will be governed by Spanish law, the parties waive their own jurisdiction and submit to the courts and tribunals of the city of Granollers (Spain).
